Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what information System Smart LLC ("System Smart," "we") collects and how we handle it. It covers this website, rental inquiries for Smarter Living homes, our consulting work, and the internal automation tools we connect to Google services.
This website
This website has no forms, accounts, cookies or advertising.
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare records standard technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may also run small scripts in your browser to:
- count page views and visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track individual visitors;
- hide our email address from automated harvesters until a person views the page;
- tell real visitors apart from bots and block malicious traffic.
We see only aggregate counts, such as visits per page and the sites that referred visitors. We do not use this data to identify anyone. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you email us or book a meeting, we receive what you choose to send, such as your name, contact details and message. We use it only to respond and to carry out the work you ask about.
Smarter Living rental homes
Listings for our homes appear on third-party rental sites such as Zillow and Apartments.com. Information you give those sites is handled under their privacy policies.
When you apply for or rent a home, we collect the information needed to evaluate the application and manage the tenancy, such as identity, contact, income and rental history. We use it only for those purposes, keep it as long as the law and the lease require, and share it only with service providers that help us screen applications or manage the home, or when the law requires.
Consulting clients
Information we receive from clients and partners is used only for the engagement it was provided for and is protected under the confidentiality terms of that engagement.
Internal tools that connect to Google
System Smart operates internal automation tools that connect to Google services. These tools are used only by System Smart and its staff. They are not offered to the public, and there is no sign-up, account creation or user registration.
What the tools access
Our automation authorizes against Google Drive using the drive.file permission. This is a per-file permission. It grants access only to files the tool itself creates, and to files you explicitly open with it. It does not grant access to the rest of your Google Drive, and it cannot read files it did not create.
The files the tool creates are task-coordination records in JSON format. They describe work to be performed, such as a file to generate or a report to assemble.
We do not access Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts or Google Photos through this tool.
How information is handled
Files created by the tool are stored in Google Drive under the account that authorized it, and are processed on computers controlled by System Smart. Access credentials are held in an encrypted password manager and are not shared.
Limited Use
System Smart LLC's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Task-coordination files are retained only as long as the work they describe is active, and are deleted afterward. You may revoke this tool's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops all further processing.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use it for advertising or to build profiles of individuals.
- We do not transfer it to third parties except as described above or as required by law.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
